Starry Night’s Critique Moments

Standard

I love Vincent Van Gogh’s painting. It have influenced on many aspects of arts in the 20th century and modern society. The “Starry Night” was completed 13 months before his death, in Saint-Remy when he was seeking treatment for his mental illness. Gogh produced his brilliant work the “Starry Night” from his memory that is why the overwhelming night sky, the emotional honesty, the darkness of this piece of painting is perhaps one of Vincent Van Gogh’s most famous paintings.

I had recently read some books on Vincent Van Gogh’s life. He had many beautiful painting. The one I loved the most is the Starry Night.  In one of Vincent Van Gogh’s painting the “Starry Night”, made the color theme of this painting mainly blue and dark blue. Most of or the background is concentrated on the dreamy, gloomy and darkness night sky. Every object in this painting blends every well with the starry sky. The “Starry Night” is full of stars, and those stars look like eleven burning white and yellow cartwheels that come in different sizes. The wind is howling above the peaceful town under the stars. The rolling mountains going horizontally look like powerful waves bending up and down towering over the small town. On the right of the painting is a bright, big, dark yellow crescent moon. On the left side of the painting is a cypress that writhing in front of the town looks as if it was a black fire. Some of the little houses have brightly lit windows.
